Maple News reports that Prince Edward Island conducted its fourth immigration draw of 2026 on April 16, issuing 127 invitations—the largest round of invitations the province has seen this year.\n\nInvitations were extended to in-province workers in occupations and sectors deemed in high demand, issued through two targeted pathways that have driven PEI’s draws so far in 2026: Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry.\n\nThe province also prioritized international student graduates from three PEI post-secondary institutions: the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), Holland College, and Collège de l’Île.\n\nPEI’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) has maintained the same selection criteria across all 2026 draws, and the latest round aligns with the province’s anticipated invitation schedule. Notably, the March 20 draw occurred one day later than the date listed.\n\nTo date, PEI has invited a total of 232 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Prospective applicants must create an account on the province’s immigration portal and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be assessed.
