To be invited, candidates must declare that they currently reside in Canada with a valid work or study permit. Eligible profiles also needed to be created and attested by April 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., with the submission window opening no earlier than July 2, 2025.
Foreign Worker stream: Eastern Ontario invited 63 candidates with a minimum score of 318; Northern Ontario invited 60 with a minimum score of 57; Southwestern Ontario invited 60 with a minimum score of 194; Central Ontario (excluding the GTA) invited 60 with a minimum score of 128. Targeted occupations varied across regions.
International Student stream: Eastern Ontario invited 173 candidates with a minimum score of 87; Northern Ontario invited 167 with a minimum score of 87; Southwestern Ontario invited 173 with a minimum score of 84; Central Ontario invited 173 with a minimum score of 85.
Ontario’s draws through the Foreign Worker and International Student streams, along with the In-Demand Skills pathway, underscore the province’s ongoing focus on aligning immigration with regional labour needs. The combined ITA total of 2,102 illustrates sustained demand for skilled workers and international graduates across Ontario.
