Maple News reports that Saskatchewan has issued 2,628 nominations through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) in 2026, about 55% of the year's allocation, as of June 30, 2026. The SINP's 2026 quota stands at 4,761 spaces, identical to the province's finalized 2025 quota. SINP nomination spaces are divided into three sector categories: Priority sectors (2,380), Capped sectors (1,190), and Other sectors (1,191). As of June 30, 2026, the breakdown shows: Priority sectors issued 1,466 nominations (62% of its 2,380 allocation); Capped sectors issued 718 nominations (60% of its 1,190 allocation); Other sectors issued 444 nominations (37% of its 1,191 allocation). There are 2,133 nomination spaces still available for the remainder of 2026. Capped sectors include accommodations and food services, retail trade and other services, and trucking. For 2026, the sector allocation is: Priority sectors 50%; Accommodations and food services 15%; Retail trade and other services 5%; Trucking 5%; Other sectors 25%.
