To qualify, candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 392 and had to have created an Express Entry profile before 1:46 a.m. UTC on March 15, 2026.
This marks the second-ever Express Entry draw focused on senior managers with Canadian work experience, with the cutoff lower than the previous round (392 now vs 429 earlier).
As of this writing, IRCC has conducted 38 Express Entry draws in 2026, reflecting a steady cadence of invitations across streams.
The broader trend this year shows draws skirting toward candidates already in Canada, especially those with Canadian work experience or provincial nominations, highlighting the government’s emphasis on domestic labor-market needs.
In total, IRCC has issued 92,101 Invitations to Apply across all Express Entry draw types in 2026, with a year that features a mix of Provincial Nominee Program, Canadian Experience Class, and category-specific draws—including French-language proficiency and senior-managers with Canadian work experience.
