Maple News: New Brunswick Invites 669 Provincial Nomination Candidates Across Six Draws, Dominated by Skilled Worker Streams

Maple News reports that New Brunswick issued 669 invitations through its provincial immigration programs in rounds held June 3–4, spanning the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). Invitations were issued under three NBPNP streams — Skilled Worker, Strategic Initiative, and Express Entry — in addition to the Atlantic Program. The six-draw series saw NBPNP account for the majority of invitations (86.1%), with the Skilled Worker Stream representing 57% of all invitations. On June 3, the province conducted two draws under the Skilled Worker Stream, inviting 381 candidates through two pathways: New Brunswick Experience and New Brunswick Graduates. Occupations targeted across these draws included construction trades and health care, with the NB Graduates pathway prioritizing several fields such as education, social and community services, construction trades, health care, and transportation. Invitations by pathway were 243 through New Brunswick Experience and 138 through New Brunswick Graduates. The cutoff for these draws was June 2, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. New Brunswick Experience targets individuals already living and working in the province for an eligible employer, with at least six months of full-time work experience with that employer. Maple News notes that NB’s immigration activity aligns with labour-market needs in construction and health care, and that the Atlantic Immigration Program continues to support employers in Atlantic Canada seeking skilled workers.
