Manitoba kicks off June draw with 104 invitations under Provincial Nominee Program

Maple News reports that Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program issued 104 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) on June 4, 2026, inviting foreign nationals to apply for provincial nomination under the Skilled Worker Stream. The invitations came through a strategic recruitment initiative and mark Manitoba’s 11th provincial immigration draw of 2026.

The LAAs were issued to Expression of Interest profiles across two Skilled Worker pathways: Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates had to indicate in their EOI that they had received an invitation through a recruitment mission, or through the Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP), which is now expired.

LAAs by recruitment initiative were distributed as follows: Employer Services 40, Temporary Public Policy (TPP) 39, Francophone Community 17, Ethnocultural Communities 6, and Regional Communities 2. In addition, 15 LAAs were issued to applicants who declared a valid Express Entry number and job seeker validation code.

The draw underscores Manitoba’s continued strategy of targeting skilled workers via employer-led recruitment and policy tools to meet local labor needs. Applicants should stay tuned for subsequent draws, as the province increasingly uses targeted invitations to attract qualified candidates. Maple News will monitor developments and provide ongoing updates.
