New Brunswick Issues 143 Invitations Across Express Entry and Atlantic Immigration Draws

Maple News reports that New Brunswick issued invitations in two draws conducted March 30–April 1, 2026, targeting skilled workers in health care, information technology, transportation, and manufacturing.

Invitations were issued through the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). In total, 143 invitations were issued across both programs over the two days: 25 through the NB Express Entry stream and 118 through the AIP.

The NB Express Entry Stream’s 25 invitations were issued under the Employment in New Brunswick pathway, which targets candidates who are living and working full-time in New Brunswick in a skilled, non-seasonal position, with health care and IT identified as core occupational categories.

The remaining 118 invitations came via the Atlantic Immigration Program, directed at workers in transportation and manufacturing sectors.

Eligibility deadlines were set: Express Entry candidates must have submitted their Expression of Interest before March 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time, while AIP endorsement applications had to be submitted by March 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST.

These rounds mark the first New Brunswick draws in more than a month; in the previous selection round, held March 3–6, NB issued 622 invitations across four streams, including the Skilled Worker and Strategic Initiative streams.

Maple News notes that the NB Express Entry Stream aligns with the federal Express Entry system and is designed for skilled foreign nationals with an active Express Entry profile, while the Employment in New Brunswick pathway targets candidates already living and working in the province. Maple News will continue to monitor NB’s immigration activity and report on new rounds as they are announced.
