Maple News reports that Newfoundland and Labrador conducted its third provincial immigration draw of 2026 on April 13, inviting 210 candidates through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).\n\nInvitations were split with 177 issued under NLPNP and 33 through AIP, meaning about 84% of the total went to NLPNP applicants. The province did not specify which NLPNP streams were represented in this round when publishing the results.\n\nThis round marks the third invitation cycle in 2026. By comparison, the two earlier rounds in 2026 were larger: 445 invitations on March 6 and 245 on March 30. Through April, Newfoundland and Labrador has issued a total of 900 invitations across NLPNP and AIP, consisting of 748 NLPNP invitations and 152 AIP invitations.\n\nYear-to-date, the province has delivered more invitations across both programs in January–April 2026 than in the same period the previous year, when 256 invitations were issued in 2025.\n\nBoth the NLPNP and the province’s AIP have operated on an Expression of Interest (EOI) model since February 2025, requiring all candidates to submit an EOI to be considered. Maple News will continue tracking developments in these streams and provide guidance to eligible applicants.\n
