Canada Boosts Provincial Nominee Program Allocations by 31% for 2026, Maple News Reports

Maple News reports that Canada is boosting Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nomination allocations by about 31% for 2026, raising quotas for every province and territory compared with the 2025 baseline. Ontario leads the gains with 14,119 nominations for 2026, up from 10,750 at the start of 2025; Alberta follows with 6,403 (vs. 4,875); Manitoba 6,239 (vs. 4,750); British Columbia 5,254 (vs. 4,000); Saskatchewan 4,761 (vs. 3,625); Yukon 282 (vs. 215); and Northwest Territories 197 (vs. 150). The increases are broadly in line with a 31.3% rise for most jurisdictions, with Yukon at about 31.1%.
