Ontario leads the gains with 14,119 nominations for 2026, up from 10,750 at the start of 2025; Alberta follows with 6,403 (vs. 4,875); Manitoba 6,239 (vs. 4,750); British Columbia 5,254 (vs. 4,000); Saskatchewan 4,761 (vs. 3,625); Yukon 282 (vs. 215); and Northwest Territories 197 (vs. 150). The increases are broadly in line with a 31.3% rise for most jurisdictions, with Yukon at about 31.1%.
