Ontario Resumes PNP Draws, Invites 72 Candidates Through Job Offer Streams

Maple News reports that Ontario has resumed issuing invitations under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), marking an end to a four-month pause in draws. On June 6, 2025, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a targeted draw aimed specifically at candidates with job offers in the Greater Sudbury region.

This draw focused on three Employer Job Offer streams: the Foreign Worker stream, the International Student stream, and the In-Demand Skills stream. A total of 72 candidates received invitations across these categories.

Here’s the breakdown of invitations issued:
– Foreign Worker Stream: 32 invitations with a minimum score of 36
– International Student Stream: 34 invitations with a minimum score of 54
– In-Demand Skills Stream: 6 invitations with a minimum score of 32

To be eligible, candidates were required to have an active OINP profile created on or before June 3, 2025. They also needed to meet several criteria: having a valid job offer from an employer located in the Greater Sudbury census division, currently residing in Canada, and holding at least a bachelor’s degree.

Now that invitations have been issued, selected candidates must submit their complete applications to the province no later than June 20, 2025. Meeting the application deadline is crucial for next steps in the nomination process.

This targeted draw highlights Ontario’s strategic focus on addressing regional labor market needs while supporting immigration pathways for those already contributing to the Canadian economy.

According to Maple News, the relaunch of draws under the Employer Job Offer streams signals a renewed commitment from Ontario to connect international talent with employers in key economic zones such as Greater Sudbury.

The Ontario PNP continues to be one of Canada’s most active provincial immigration programs, offering skilled workers and graduates viable routes to permanent residency through employer-backed job offers.
