Alternatively, if an applicant believes their refusal was made in error or based on procedural unfairness, they may request a judicial review by the Federal Court. This process allows a judge to review how the decision was made, though it does not guarantee a reversal. A successful judicial review can lead to the application being reconsidered, but it must be filed within 30 days of receiving a refusal.
