PEI’s Latest PNP Draw Elevates International Graduates From Designated Learning Institutions

Maple News reports that on February 19, 2026, Prince Edward Island conducted its latest draw under the PEI Provincial Nominee Program, aligned with the province’s anticipated Invitation to Apply schedule.

Continuing a pattern from earlier draws this year, PEI prioritized candidates with in-province ties and strong alignment with occupations and priority sectors deemed economically vital, with added emphasis on international graduates from designated learning institutions (DLIs).

The draw produced 109 provincial nominee invitations through Labour Impact and Express Entry streams. Invitations were issued to individuals working in occupations and sectors identified by the PEI Office of Immigration as having economic impact, including healthcare, trades, and manufacturing, as well as other industries facing labour shortages.

International graduates from the following DLIs were prioritized: University of Prince Edward Island; Holland College; Collège de l’Île. The province noted that individuals in the sales and service sector may not receive invitations at this time.

PEI’s next draws are anticipated on March 19 and April 16, 2026. The province has also published a full ITA schedule for 2026: March 19, April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17, October 15, November 19, and December 17. These dates are informational and not a guaranteed processing timeline.
