New Online Tool Streamlines Eligibility Check for All Express Entry-Aligned Provincial Nominee Programs

Foreign nationals aiming to secure permanent residence in Canada through Express Entry now have access to a time-saving tool that streamlines the eligibility assessment for all Express Entry-aligned Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), reports Maple News.

The newly available online tool, CanadaVisa+ (CV+), allows users to evaluate their eligibility across more than 20 enhanced PNP streams through a single web form—eliminating the need to navigate each program individually or sort through overwhelming government documents. The assessment can be completed in less than 10 minutes and is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.

Provincial nominations are a game-changer in Canada’s immigration landscape. Those nominated through enhanced PNPs receive an additional 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), making them highly competitive in the Express Entry pool and increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

To begin the assessment, applicants simply start the free evaluation on the CV+ platform. While most questions are straightforward, correctly identifying one’s National Occupation Classification (NOC) code may require attention. The platform provides tools and descriptions to help users match their work experience with the appropriate NOC code based on job duties, not job titles.

Once the form is completed, users submit their email to receive detailed results. Creating an account also allows the tool to track changes in eligibility over time, suggest actions to improve eligibility (such as enhancing language scores or gaining relevant work experience), and notify users of immigration updates.

The CV+ interface includes a dedicated “Provincial Nominations” section where users can see which enhanced PNPs they qualify for, filtered by province and consideration type. Even if a user is currently ineligible, the tool highlights the missing criteria—such as needing a specific job offer—enabling strategic planning to meet future requirements.

Maple News notes that CV+ is a valuable resource for aspiring immigrants who want a clear, personalized overview of their eligibility for one of Canada’s most powerful permanent residency pathways. With real-time updates and actionable recommendations, the platform supports applicants not only in assessing but actively building their eligibility.

By replacing guesswork with clarity and offering a centralized, user-friendly experience, tools like CV+ are set to transform how potential immigrants engage with the Canadian Express Entry system and provincial nomination opportunities.
