New Brunswick Issues 110 Invitations in First PNP Draw Since November

Maple News reports that the province of New Brunswick resumed its provincial nominee draws with its first round of invitations for December, held on December 9, 2025. This marks the province’s first Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) activity since November 16, 2025.

A total of 110 candidates received Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP). The draw targeted Francophone applicants across various occupations and was conducted using a cut-off date of December 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time.

Of the total invitations issued, 8 candidates were selected under the Express Entry Stream via the Employment in New Brunswick pathway. The remaining 102 were invited through the Skilled Worker Stream, under the New Brunswick Experience and New Brunswick Graduates pathways.

To qualify under the Express Entry – Employment in New Brunswick pathway, candidates must have an active Express Entry profile, be currently working full-time in a year-round TEER 0–3 job with an eligible New Brunswick employer, and must have lived in the province for the past 12 months. Additionally, applicants must possess 12 consecutive months of authorized full-time work experience in New Brunswick, meet a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 7, and hold at least a high school diploma (or equivalent).

The Skilled Worker Stream has two active pathways in this draw. For the New Brunswick Experience pathway, candidates must be working in a full-time, non-seasonal role with a valid New Brunswick employer that supports their application. Applicants must also have resided in the province for at least six months prior to submitting an expression of interest.

For the New Brunswick Graduates pathway, eligible candidates are typically international graduates from New Brunswick institutions, although this particular round focused on applicants already in employment. Specific criteria for this pathway include full-time employment and recent settlement in the province prior to application.

All applications from this draw will undergo processing in 2026, as confirmed by the province. The focus on Francophone applicants reflects New Brunswick’s broader strategy to strengthen its bilingual workforce and boost long-term economic sustainability through immigration.

New Brunswick continues to remain an attractive destination for skilled immigrants seeking settlement in Atlantic Canada, noted for its streamlined PNP protocols and community-driven immigration strategies.
