Manitoba Issues Over 3,300 Invitations in Latest Provincial Nominee Draw

Maple News reports that the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has issued 3,347 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) during a new round of invitations held on September 4, 2025. The draw marks one of the province’s most significant invitation rounds this year as it aims to attract skilled workers and international graduates to support Manitoba’s labor market and economic growth.

Invitations were extended under three main categories: the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, the Skilled Worker Overseas stream through targeted strategic recruitment, and the International Education Stream. These programs allow Manitoba to select individuals best suited to contribute to its regional workforce needs.

The breakdown of invitations reveals a strong focus on international education graduates, with 1,866 LAAs issued under that stream. Meanwhile, the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream accounted for 1,466 LAAs. An additional 15 LAAs were sent to candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream as part of Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives.

Within these initiatives, the province targeted specific groups, including the Francophone Community (7 LAAs), Employer Services (4 LAAs), Regional Communities (3 LAAs), and Ethnocultural Communities (1 LAA). These targeted efforts reflect Manitoba’s continued commitment to strengthening community diversity and addressing specific labor shortages.

An additional selection took place within the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream specifically for citizens of Ukraine. Eligible Ukrainian nationals who declared themselves as principal applicants received invitations, further affirming Canada’s supportive immigration policies for those affected by global crises.

The draw did not publish a cut-off score for most streams, with the exception of the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, where the minimum score required was 844.

Manitoba’s latest draw underscores the province’s strategic approach in leveraging immigration to meet labor market needs while also promoting community settlement and economic integration. With ongoing draws expected, candidates meeting eligibility under MPNP pathways stand a strong chance of receiving invitations in future rounds.
