Manitoba Issues 67 Invitations in Latest PNP Draw, Prioritizing International Graduates and Strategic Recruitment

Maple News reports that on July 10, 2025, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited 67 immigration candidates in its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #249. The selections were made under two targeted streams: the International Education Stream and the Skilled Worker categories, highlighting Manitoba’s ongoing commitment to building its local workforce through strategic recruitment and regional engagement.

A total of 40 invitations were issued under the Graduate Internship Pathway, a sub-stream of the International Education Stream. This pathway is designed for international graduates who completed advanced industry or research internships in the province. These candidates often apply with strong ties to Manitoba’s job market and academic network.

An additional 27 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were given out under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas streams. These candidates were identified through Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives and had a minimum EOI score of 673. Specific focus areas for this selection included individuals connected to employer services (3), the Francophone community (2), regional communities (4), and ethnocultural communities (18).

Of the 67 total invitations, 29 candidates indicated a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. These applicants may benefit from expedited federal immigration processing through Canada’s Express Entry system, underscoring Manitoba’s alignment with federal immigration goals.

This draw is consistent with Manitoba’s trend of leveraging targeted provincial immigration streams to meet specific labour market and demographic needs. By focusing on graduates with Manitoba-based education and professional experience, as well as candidates from key communities and sectors, the province is reinforcing its strategy to attract long-term contributors to the regional economy.

As Manitoba continues to address skilled labour shortages and support community development across the province, the MPNP remains a vital pathway for qualified immigrants seeking to establish permanent residency in Canada.

Maple News will continue to provide timely updates on Canada’s provincial immigration draws and broader immigration policy trends.
