Canada Issues 3,725 Invitations in Latest All-Program Express Entry Draw

Maple News reports that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new all-program Express Entry draw, inviting 3,725 candidates to apply for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required in this round was 500.

This marks the first all-program draw for October and follows a period of significant activity in Canada’s Express Entry system. In late September, IRCC conducted three consecutive draws, each targeting different groups of candidates under its category-based selection streams.

The series began on September 26 with an all-program draw inviting 3,000 candidates with CRS scores of 504 or higher. A day later, a specialized draw focused on French-speaking candidates brought in 500 individuals with scores of at least 472. On September 28, IRCC made history by holding its first-ever agriculture and agri-food occupation-specific draw, inviting 600 candidates who had CRS scores of 354 or above.

With this latest draw, IRCC has now issued invitations across all six designated categories launched under the new category-based selection system introduced earlier in 2023. These categories help Canada prioritize candidates with specific skills, work experience, or language abilities that align with the country’s labor market needs.

The ongoing evolution of the Express Entry system is a signal of Canada’s commitment to both economic growth and demographic balance. By tailoring draws to target high-demand sectors and diverse linguistic capabilities, IRCC aims to build a dynamic, multilingual, and highly skilled workforce.

As Canada remains one of the most sought-after destinations for skilled immigrants, candidates are encouraged to monitor upcoming Express Entry rounds closely and ensure their profiles are updated to align with eligibility criteria.

Maple News will continue to provide timely, accurate updates on Canada’s evolving immigration landscape.
